Common Area Upgrades

Urban Splash frequently undertakes works to the common areas of multi-dwelling buildings on behalf of stratas, company titles and block owners. Our experience includes restoring external brickwork, roofing, gutter/down pipes, foyer rejuvenation, staircases, fire regulatory compliance works and much more.

Most commonly we undertake total transformations of building facades which can involve concrete spalling (cancer), replacement of balcony balustrades and awnings, painting, timber repairs, replacement of concrete, installing new timber or aluminium windows, timber privacy screens, retiling common area entrances and stairways, façade rendering and colour design to provide buildings with a fresh appearance.

Roof Maintenance, Repairs & Replacement

We offer an extensive of materials and have teams of specialists installing Terracotta and concrete tiles, new and second hand slate and all types of metal roofs.

Gutters & Downpipes

We measure the gutters and help you select the correct gutter profile from the many available.
Gutters and downpipes are available Zincalume (silver finish) or Bluscope Lysaght Colours.
Generally Zincalume is best suited for homes that only require partial replacement and the remaining existing gutters have been painted in a non-Bluescope Lysaght colour. For a small additional investment, Bluescope Lysaght gutters provide a perfect finish that won’t require masking, priming and painting.

Downpipes are available in all of the same colours as guttering and can be ordered in either rectangular or round profiles.

If you have Eucalypts or deciduous trees around your property, we also supply and fit Watergate Zincalume gutter guard, a hard wearing, affordable gutter protection solution that will keep your gutters in top condition for many years to come.

Staircases

We supply all types of timber staircases, including curved stairs, spiral stairs, contemporary stairs, glass balustrade, wire balustrading and handrails.
 
Facade Upgrades

We undertake restoration work (brick pointing) and external brickwork rendering.

Our unique system provides you with all the documentation necessary to enable you to track all expenses on a unit-by-unit basis and we can provide you with deprecation schedules for tax purposes.
